About The Toast Post
Bread. It's possible there is no food which is quite as underrated. Bread is a staple which can be served with every meal of the day (yes even dessert - I'm looking at you bread & butter pudding).

Despite many different variations, most cuisines tend to have some version of bread. It's something that can be made so many different ways and be served with so many other things.

This blog will explore and appreciate the ways bread is made, and how it is used. This is in the context of both past and present, and across cultures. Reviews of bakeries, and interviews with bakers in South Australia will assist us in this journey.
About Me

My name is Clem Stanley, and I'm currently 18 years old. I am a student at the University of South Australia studying a double degree in Journalism and Professional Writing and a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing and Literature).

Since working in a bakery for just over three years, I have developed an eye for bread, and the different ways it is made. Keeping in mind, I was a sales assistant, so I don't have any baking qualifications. However, I'm just as excited to learn more about bread and baking as you are!
